วันพุธที่ 28 พฤศจิกายน 2558 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุกฤษ มงคลนาวิน เป็นประธานในพิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ เปิด “อาคารมงคลนาวิน” ใช้งบประมาณก่อสร้าง 2,382,971.- บาท (สองล้านสามแสนแปดหมื่นสองพันเก้าร้อยเจ็ดสิบเอ็ดบาทถ้วน)
ประวัติ
เปิดดำเนินการเมื่อวันที่ 7 ตุลาคม 2539 และ มีพิธีเปิดอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 12 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2539 โดยในระยะแรกได้ดำเนินการในรูปแบบของสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนจนกระทั่งปี พุทธศักราช 2544 จึงได้เปลี่ยนมาเป็นโรงเรียนอนุบาล เพื่อเป็นการรองรับเด็กของสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กให้ได้มีสถานที่รองรับ ในระดับ ชั้นอนุบาลต่อไป โดยเด็กที่มารับการเลี้ยงดูส่วนใหญ่มาจากชุมชนโรงช้อน ชุมชนโรงสูบ
ชุมชนวัดบางบัว และริมคลองชุมชนเกษตร ชุมชนวัดพระศรีมหาธาตุ แฟลตบางบัวเป็นต้น
โรงเรียนพีระยานาวิน ปัจจุบันได้รับอนุญาตให้จัดตั้งเป็นโรงเรียนเอกชนประเภทสงเคราะห์
ตามใบอนุญาต เลขที่ กส 116/2547 ลงวันที่ 7 เมษายน 2547 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 16 ห้องเรียน
แบ่งเป็นชั้นเตรียมอนุบาล 1 ห้องเรียน ชั้นอนุบาลปีที่ 1 จำนวน 3 ห้องเรียน ชั้นอนุบาลปีที่ 2
จำนวน 3 ห้องเรียน ชั้นอนุบาลปีที่ 3 จำนวน 3 ห้องเรียน ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 – 6 จำนวน 6 ห้องเรียน
จำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด 434 คน ชาย 212 คน หญิง 222 คน
นอกจากนั้นที่ศูนย์พหลโยธิน 47 ยังเป็นสถานที่ฝึกอบรม และ พัฒนาบุคลากรเป็นเวทีการแสดงและ แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นด้านเด็กปฐมวัยในเรื่องต่างๆ ตลอดจนการเป็นสถานที่ในการเข้าเยี่ยมชม ศึกษาดูงาน ของหน่วยงานราชการ องค์กรเอกชน และ สถาบัน การศึกษาต่างๆ
อีกทั้งเป็นศูนย์กลางในการผลิตของเล่น เพื่อการพัฒนาเด็ก, สื่อการเรียนการสอนและเสื้อผ้าสำหรับเด็ก ซึ่งมีผู้สนใจร่วมบริจาคทุนทรัพย์ในการผลิตดังกล่าว จนกระทั่งสามารถนำออกมาจำหน่ายให้กับบุคคล และ หน่วยงานภายนอกที่สนใจรวมถึงการนำออกแสดงตามงานหรือกิจกรรมที่สถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ และหน่วยงานราชการจัดขึ้นอยู่เป็นประจำ

ค่าก่อสร้างและปรับปรุง
- อาคารแรก : เป็นเงิน 7,000,000 บาท (พ.ศ. 2539) (สองชั้น) ชั้นเรียนระดับอนุบาล
- อาคารสอง : เป็นเงิน 14,000,000 บาท (พ.ศ.2538) (สี่ชั้น) อาคารสำนักงาน และห้องพักเยาวชน
- อาคารสาม : เป็นเงิน 7,000,000 บาท (พ.ศ.2547) (สองชั้น) อาคารประถมศึกษา (อาคารสามเป็นอาคารเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จย่า)
รวมค่าก่อสร้างและ/หรือค่าปรับปรุง 195,568,379.85 บาท

ปฐมวัย เรียนรู้แบบ “มอนเตสเซอรี่”
ประธานมูลนิธิพีระยานุเคราะห์ ดร.อุกฤษ มงคลนาวิน เน้นให้เด็กเรียนรู้ด้วยความสุข จึงได้นำการเรียนรู้ผ่านของเล่น มาประยุกต์เข้ากับทฤษฎีมอนเตสเซอรี่ เป็นมอนเตสเซอรี่ในวีถีแบบไทย เน้นการเรียนรู้ผ่านของเล่นในบริบทแบบไทยๆ ของเล่นบางส่วนเกิดจากแนวคิดของคุณครูในโรงเรียน ที่ทางโรงเรียนมีศูนย์การผลิตของเล่นด้วย เพื่อผลิตของเล่นคุณภาพที่ดี ราคาย่อมเยา และตอบสนองความต้องการของเด็กในการ “เล่น” เพื่อสร้างพัฒนาการ

- ปัจจุบัน มีห้องเรียนจำนวน 4 ห้องเรียน มีจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งสิ้น 210 คน ชาย 107 คน หญิง 103 คน และครูจำนวน 13 คน
- สรุป จำนวนเด็กที่เข้ารับการเลี้ยงดูตั้งแต่เริ่มเปิดศูนย์ฯ จนถึงปัจจุบันจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 2,071 คน

Phaholyothin 47 Center
BACKGROUNDS:
Success in taking care of and development of children between the ages of 2-6 years from poverty level families, which was initiated in the year B.E. 2533 pursuant to guidelines initiated by Prof.Dr.Ukrit Mongkolnavin, leads to expansion of this assistance to other communities in large cities such as Bangkok and villages in several provinces.
Sathorn Center was the first nursery of Pierra-Navin (B.E. 2533-2537).
Ekamai Center was the second nursery (B.E. 2537-2539, was closed as the lease agreement was expired in B.E. 2539, please see particulars in the brochure of Dhatthong Center.)
Dhatthong Center is the third nursery (B.E. 2539 – present) by transfer of the children from Ekamai Center and admitting more children subject to the policy on expansion of assistance to poverty stricken families (please see particulars in the brochure of Dhatthong Center.)
Phaholyothin Center is the fourth nursery (B.E. 2539 – present) of “Pierra-Navin”, subsequently, it’s operations have been expanded to include a “kindergarten” (B.E. 2544 – present.)
HISTORY:
In the years B.E. 2537- 2539, Ekamai Center was the nursery and the temporary office of Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation. The lease agreement expired in B.E. 2539 and Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation had to find a new place of operation.
Prof.Dr.Ukrit Mongkolnavin, the President of the Executive Committee of the Foundation had prepared to move the office of the Foundation to 800 square wahs, on which 2 buildings were located, in Chatuchak District, which was land donated by the kind people, and in the possession of Doctor Khun Pierra Vejakul, the Founder and the First President of the Executive Committee of Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation. Presently, the Foundation holds ownership of the Land.
At this new office: the first 2 buildings were constructed in the year B.E. 2529 to serve as a dormitory for those whom the Foundation fed and took care of until able to earn their own living, moving them from Sathorn Center to Chatuchak Center. Till B.E. 2538, these people stayed at Vejakul Residence located at 13/1-2 and 13/10-11, a condominium of 44 bedrooms and the 3-block Townhouses located on 350 square wahs at the opposite side of the head office of Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation. The first building was changed to serve as the nursery and kindergarten.
The second Building was constructed in B.E. 2536. It is a 4-storey building, divided into office space, activities area and accommodations for teachers and youth.
The third Building, Prof.Dr.Ukrit Mongkolnavin designated to be constructed as the Fame Enhancement and Commemoration of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother, which is conferred Her Royal Highness Name “ Somdet Ya (The Fame Enhancement and Commemoration of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother) ”. It was constructed in 2003 in order to serve as an elementary education building to fulfill the request of parents who want their children to continue their education in the same school.

The communities assisted: 31 communities, i.e., Bangbua, Rongchon, Praditthorakarn, Rab 11, Talad and Flat Bangbua, Karn Suesarn (Communications), Scientific Department, Wanghin, Talad Amornphan, Saimai, Ladplakhao, Ramindra, Wacharaphol, Prachanives, Phrasrimahadhat Temple, Laksi, Bangkhen Railway, Saphanmai, Donmuang, Ladphrao, Rongsup, etc.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION:
Parents who send their children to study and be developed here participate in the enhancement of educational activities in the form of an association, by a means of election of 25 representatives from among themselves each session, to act as directors and there in arrange meetings within the scope and feasibility based on the criteria “not to disturb, not to annoy and free from any burden”, but will enhance the stability of the family institution, which shall not violate or trouble nor obstruct the feeding and development of children pursuant to the guidelines of “Pierra-Navin”.
The activities of the Parents Association of Phaholyothin Center is to cooperate with Pierra-Navin Nursery in activities, such as donation to a temple in the form of Pha Pa in order to raise funds for the lunch program for the children, development and improvement of buildings, scholarships, toy development fund, perform anything useful to the community and the sharing of things to remote provinces, etc.
Participation of the Community
Apart from the Parents Association of “Pierra-Navin“, the Center obtains assistance and cooperation from communal leaders, by the leaders of the communities around the Center aiding in public relations and teaching understanding of the people in the community concerning child development activities. There are several groups established, namely aerobic exercise; whereby the Center permits the use of its facilities in the evening after school hours, etc.
TAKING CARE OF AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN:
“Pierra-Navin” has established guidelines and theories to develop children in accordance with their age, the contents and ways of which are consistent with the natural growing up of children. It emphasizes concepts, acts, outcome and liabilities, discipline and moral (please see particulars in the Theory and Guide Lines to Treat and Develop Children of “Pierra-Navin”). The development is divided into the major activities and the supplementary activities:
- Major Activities mean the stage of development and treatment of children necessary to be used in accordance with the development of children at the stage they are at in order to systematically achieve. It shall depend on the base of each child. Such basic backgrounds are the physical readiness, perception, understanding, ability to develop thinking then acting and output, i.e.
- Allow children learn by themselves about their organs, their functions and how to take care of such organs.
Allow children to learn about their environment such as family, relationships within the family, geographic environment, natural phenomena and other living things.
- Allow children to learn basic knowledge, such as mathematics, science, language, arts, ethics, social science, etc. Teaching in these areas will be done according to actions of the children.
- Train children to be ready to follow with their higher classes, such as to develop muscles and thinking process, the brain of children including to train them to write, read and observe by understanding not by memorizing.
- Allow children to learn whatever they want to learn and adjust such learning to be a stage of development of children.
- Supplementary Activities mean stages of development of children prepared to increase skills, knowledge, ability of children based on their preference and response to their development in a form of entertainment, such as playing, singing, music, free shows, outside sight seeing, sports, etc.

Nursery was inaugurated on October 7, 1996. Firstly it is operated as a nursery, until 2001, it is changed to become a kindergarten in order to admit the children given care by the Nursery to being able to study their elementary classes in the Kindergarten. Most children whom the School admits come from neighboring communities, i.e., Rongchon Community, Rongsoob Community, Watbangbua Community, Rimkhlong Agriculture Community, Wat Phrasrimahathat Community and Bangbua Flat, etc.
Pierra Navin School is presently permitted the license to operate a private school for community supporting under license no. Kor Sor 116/2547 dated April 7, 2004, having totally 14 classrooms that are divided into 1 pre-kindergarten classroom, 3 classrooms of kindergarten level 1, 3 classrooms of kindergarten level 2 and 3 classrooms of kindergarten level 3, and 4 classrooms of the elementary classes (Prathomsuksa) 1-4, with 435 total pupils : male 213 persons and female 222 persons.
In addition, the Phaholyothin 47 Center also serves as a personnel training and development place and the stage to express and exchange opinions concerning little children tasks. This Center is an interesting one to be visited by various public agencies, private entities and educational institutes to study its operation.
The School also serves as the center to produce toys for child development, produce teaching and learning medias and fabric articles and utensils. Many interested parties donate to the School to serve as the fund to produce such things. All the products produced can be sold to any parties and normally are taken to be displayed in many fairs and activities/exhibitions held by various educational institutes and the public agencies.

The Center was requested by all parents who sent their children to be in the care of the Center, to expand to open kindergarten and elementary classrooms, so that their children can continue to study at the Center which they are reliable on. Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation, therefore, expands to operate kindergarten and elementary classrooms in order to study/research and demonstrate the teaching of Pierra Navin teachers to entities of both the public and the private sectors that ask to visit and study the operation of the Foundation, and to respond to the need of the relevant communities.
Pierra Navin Schools
Under the Patronage of Pierra Maternity & Child Welfare Foundation admit little children to the schools to provide education and develop them. Presently, there are 10 pierra navin schools in 9 provinces of the Country , with 1,805 pupils and 181 teachers.
Pierra navin schools are divided into 2 divisions , namely:-
- The education division ; and
- The educational promotion and support division
1. The educational section is divided into 3 sections as follows:
1.1 The nursery section ( little children aged 2-3 years ) in a number of 1 classroom.
1.2 The kindergarten section is divided into 3 levels:
Kindergarten level 1 ( children aged 3-4 years ) in a number of 3 classroom.
Kindergarten level 2 ( children aged 4-5 years ) in a number of 3 classroom.
Kindergarten level 3 ( children aged 5-6 years ) in a number of 3 classroom.
1.3 The elementary classes divided into 6 levels:
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 1 classroom.
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 2 classroom.
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 3 classroom.
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 4 classroom.
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 5 classroom.
Elementary Class 1 in a number of 6 classroom.
2. The educational promotion and support division divided into 8 sections as follows:-

produced by teachers as handmade products.
2.3 Cloth products section, where the products are also produced by teachers as handmade products.
